Oahu is the main population area in Hawaii with Honolulu being the focal point.
Pearl Harbor is the major attraction on the island and we visited it in 1983 and in 2019.
A lot of the interest and beauty of the island is outside the city, especially along the north and east shores.
In 2011, we did most of our island exploration in a rented car and really enjoyed it.
Honolulu and Wikiki Beach are major tourist destinations in themselves.
